at New Rose Primary - Egyptian Extravaganza, using dance, drama and visual arts to explore and enjoy history learning

* Science on Stage:
initiating, developing and delivering performing and visual arts project with Learning Through Arts' flagship creative
learning company - Wirksworth INdependDANCE Youth Dance Company, in partnership with Belper School. Dance and theatre design
work to create, stage and perform contemporary dance theatre that explores and communicates ideas from human science themes.
January - September 07. Performed at the Pomegranate Theatre Chesterfield, March 07, and Wirksworth Festival, September 07.
* Dance as path to communication across community and language:
Dance work developed through Wirksworth INdependDANCE, in partnership with the Modern Foreign Languages Dept. Anthony
Gell School, to explore non-verbal communication through movement and story. Partnership work in Marburg Germany with integrated
group of German and English young people on the theme of celebrating culture and friendship through the World Cup.
* DASH Project 07:
Dance, Sport and Media with young people (Year 9 and 10) from Highfields School Matlock and Anthony Gell School Wirksworth,
in partnership with Matlock Live and the schools: using skating/boarding and BMXing with urban dance and video to create a
performance at Matlock skate park that incorporates the three elements, including large scale video projection. January -
March 07.
* Creative learning for the Gifted and Talented, various input into Gifted and Talented programmes at individual schools
and as part of Countywide programme and courses, example: Peak 11 Schools Summer Course for Year 9 students, July 06, Derby
University Buxton Campus.

Training and development work with teachers and schools' SLT:
* Consultation with schools on whole school change towards a creative curriculum,
example: through RSA Opening Minds curriculum. Cross art-form consultation and training with staff at Glossopdale Community
School in preparation for their Opening Minds curriculum, during Summer 2006, visual arts facilitation as part of the creative
learning programme on Identity with Year 7 and 8. (As part of Creative Learning Project, Derbyshire).
* Creative learning training with teachers and students, particularly with the Derbyshire County Council LA Advisory Service,
and with individual schools through INSET training. Ongoing. Using techniques developed through combined performing and visual
arts work to explore and facilitate creative and personalised learning.
* Input into the CPD teachers' programme for the Derbyshire Creative Lab, facilitation and training with schools on creative
learning across the curriculum, as inspired by the Primitive Streak Exhibition. October 06 - March 07.
